Feb. 24, 2011 - Guitar students of Lillian Tuscana - commonly known as 'Ms. Lil' - performed a recital for family and friends on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. in the Leonard Community Center.

Students accompanied themselves and sang songs, with Ms. Lil assisting on some. Rachel Rowe and Ms. Lil sang Because He Lives after Ms. Lil opened the program with a solo of Welcome to My World. Julie Shepard followed, singing and playing Sugar, We're Going Down Swinging, The Time of Your Life and The Ballad of Mona Lisa. Alli Trusty performed I Go out Walking, Jolene, and Hallelujah and Leslie McCoy led Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, Let's All Go Down to the River and Battle of New Orleans with the last selection played on the banjo. Rowe also sang and played Swing Low Sweet Chariot, Bobby McGee and You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man. Kelsie Kennon performed last with Just A Closer Walk With Thee, I Go Out Walking, and I Wanna Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart.

The recital finished with Amazing Grace sung by all the performers. Many family and friends complimented the girls on a job well done
