Guitar recital held Dec. 19

December 24, 2009 - A guitar recital was held in the Community Center downtown Leonard on Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. The recital drew a large crowd and there were many local students participating.

Trent Isaacs played Jingle Bells, Proud Mary and Rockin Around the Christmas Tree; Jaiden Boucher played Rudolph, Here Rattler Here and Rockin Robin; Trevor Davidson performed Frosty, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and then performed a duet with his sister, Katlyn singing and playing Down in the Valley; Katlyn Davidson did White Chrismas, Cowboys Sweetheart and a duet with her brother, Trevor; Gordon Stewart, Blue Christmas and Folson Prison; Jim Stewart, Little Drummer Boy, Marvelous Toy and A Nickle Piece of Candy; Paul Lutz, Here Comes Santa Claus and Sing Me Back Home; Leslie McCoy, Silver Bells, Jingle Bell Rock and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and Ms. Lil, Let There be Peace on Earth as the final rendition

As a finale they all sang and played Silent Night.

Refreshments and snacks were served after the recital.
