Leonard JV dunks S&S 59-42

December 17, 2009 - The Leonard JV boys played S & S on Dec. 8, in a game that seemed S & S had the better team at half time, but Leonard poured on the points in the second half and pulled ahead in the third quarter and even more ahead in the fourth.

The contest seemed even at the end of the first quarter as both teams had scored 10 points, but at half time S & S dominated the Leonard JV team with a score of 31 over 22 total points for Leonard. S & S scored seven points in the third period of play while Leonard scored 21, taking them ahead of the S & S team. Leonard continued pouring in the shots in the fourth quarter and brought their final score to 59 while S & S finished with 42 points.

Double digit scorers for Leonard were Michael Morgan with 15 and Storm Taylor 13.
