
December 3, 2009 - The 2008 North East Texas Pesticide Applicator Clinic Training will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Love Civic Center in Paris Texas. This year, topics will include Management of Aflatoxin using
AflaGuard and Soybean update from Dr, Tom Isakeit, Extension Plant
Pathologist; Nature Tourism: Wildlife and Agro-tourism Enterprise
Management Issues related to plant, Wildlife and Insect density by Miles
Phillips, Extension SpecialistNature Tourism; Feral Hog control for
NE Texas by Michale Bodenchuk Director of Wildlife Services, Texas
AgriLife Extension; Controlling Brush Encroachment on Grazable Acres by
James Lock of Noble Foundation and Pasture Management for NE Texas by Dr
Vanessa Corriher, Extension Forage Specialist. This seminar will grant
5 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) hours for Pesticide Applicators and
will contain valuable information for producers. Registration is
$20 at the door, and a meal will be served
If you would like to obtain a private applicator license, we are
offering an opportunity to do so as well. We recommend applicants
purchase manuals to study before the course. These are available at the
Extension Office.

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Love Civic Center is located
2025 S Collegiate Dr, Paris Texas.
