Feb. 10, 2011 - Area residents may be getting a knock on their door soon, if they haven't already. Girl Scout Cookie Sales began Jan. 7 and will continue through the end of March or so, with cookie deliveries beginning after Feb. 20 to the girls. The girls will then deliver to each person who ordered from them in the following days.
Some of the troops will hold booth sales, but dates and locations of those events were not confirmed at press time. They are set to begin Feb. 25.
The Girl Scout cookies are popular with many, and some order enough boxes to sustain them through the year.
