March 24, 2011 - The Garden, Lawn and Home Expo sponsored by the Fannin County Master Gardeners will be Saturday, March 26, from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bonham Civic Center (former Armory Bldg) in Bonham. Come and plan to stay all day, visiting the vendor booths between presentations up until 4 p.m.
Vendor booths include home and garden-related commercial information, and exhibit booths which will include plants, garden items, home needs and equipment. There will be silent auction items and door prizes throughout the day. Admission at the door is $4. Call 903-583-7453 for more information.
At 9 a.m. Kimberly Schofield will present "Beneficial Insects". At 10:30 a.m. Jessie Gunn Stephens will present "Culinary Herbs". Steve Huddleston will present "Perennials for Sun and Shade at 12:30 p.m. and at 2 p.m. Dr. James McAfee will present "Managing Turfgrass in Home Lawns".
