May 12, 2011 - Summer basketball camp will be held June 13-17 at Leonard High School gym, Monday through Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. Campers may show up 30 minutes before camp starts. The gym will be locked until 8:30 a.m.
The cost will be $50 per child or two children for $90 and three children or more in the same family $100. Registration will be accepted at the door, though pre-registration is preferred, so the child can get their personalized t-shirt and make sure the correct size is available. Cash or check is accepted with checks being made out to Jeff Smith.
Registration forms are available at the school, and completed forms may be returned with payment to Jeff Smith, P.O. Box 25, Leonard, TX 75452.
Each child will receive a t-shirt. Certificates and awards will be given on the last day of camp. The camp will allow campers to learn the fundamentals of the game from high school coaches and players. It will focus on allowing kids to learn these fundamentals while having the opportunity to compete and have fun every day. A competition day will be held on the final day of camp. Family members are invited to attend and cheer for the efforts and accomplishments of the campers.
